Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and care teams, adhering to scope and standards of practice. They serve as patient advocates, promote safety and clinical outcomes, and educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and lifestyle changes.

Key Duties

• Assess and manage patient pain, perform procedures, and document care accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to ensure exceptional care.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care for effective self-management.
• Coordinate care, promote safety, provide education, and document care thoroughly.
• Work within established models of care to support optimal patient outcomes and departmental performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license and diploma.
• Certifications including BLS, with additional trauma and pediatric life support courses obtained within specified timeframes.
• Strong communication, compassion, and clinical skills.
