$3,000 sign-on bonus. Internal employees and rehires who left Northwestern Medicine within 1 year are not eligible for the sign-on bonus. Exception: New graduate internal employees seeking their first licensed clinical position as a Registered Nurse at NM may be eligible.
About the role
CDH Neuro Intermediate (3B) is a 24-bed neurosciences unit providing care to patients requiring medical and surgical treatment of acute neurological and spine disorders.
Neurological conditions include acute and stable traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, spinal injury, seizure, and acute inflammation or infections of the CNS. Neurosurgical patients include aneurysm repair, CSF leaks & lumbar drains, post-op neurosurgical and spinal patients.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license
- Basic Life Support certification
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Strong analytic abilities
Preferred
- Experience in Neuro
Additional preferences for the Emergency Room and the Pediatric Emergency Room:
- Trauma Nurse Specialist (TNS)
- Emergency Communications Registered Nurse
- Certified Pediatric Nurse
- Certified Emergency Nurse
