Registered Nurse - Virtual Care

About the role

This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in acute care settings, requiring hands-on patient interaction and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The role includes working in both office and patient care areas, performing duties such as walking, standing, bending, and lifting frequently. Candidates must adhere to infection control policies and use PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care across all age groups
• Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and infection control protocols
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members
• Manage patient information with appropriate access levels

Qualifications and Skills

• Licensed RN in NYS with current BLS certification
• Minimum 3 years of recent acute care clinical experience
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 5+ years of acute care, charge nurse, and preceptor experience
• National certification in an acute care specialty

Work Environment

• Work involves frequent walking, standing, and exposure to cleaning solutions and disinfectants
• Must follow infection control policies, including PPE usage
• Performed in air-conditioned/heated rooms with potential interruptions
