Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls regarding patients.
- Consult with Head Nurse and/or physician to present patient’s problem and resolve the issue or direct calls to the appropriate person.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence.
- Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital.
- Current CPR certification.
- BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).
Screenings
- Background, drug, and nicotine screens are required as part of the hiring process.
- All offers of employment are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background screening.
- As a condition of employment, FCS requires all new hires to receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption.
- FCS is a drug-free workplace; all new hires will be subject to drug and nicotine testing. Medical Marijuana cards are not recognized.
