Registered Nurse - Transfer Center FMOL St Dominic Weekend Nights

Responsibilities

• Captures and coordinates all internal and external patient transfer requests.
• Manages transfer activities between FMOLHS receiving and transferring physicians, clinical and clerical departments.
• Maintains awareness of services and capabilities of all FMOLHS and non-FMOLHS facilities.
• Facilitates communication and collaboration between hospitals, providers, and external transfer teams.
• Maintains familiarity with internal systems and multiple communications methods.
• Ensures accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and FMOLHS policy standards.
• Provides superior customer service to facilitate positive patient experiences.
• Collaborates with hospital staff, nursing units, and external healthcare providers to support quality patient care.
• Quickly addresses and resolves issues during the transfer process.
• Serves the organization with honesty and integrity by complying with all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 years of general or specialty nursing practice experience.
• A degree in Nursing (ADN).
• A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Mississippi.
