Job Summary
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Responsibilities
- Implements and monitors patient care plans.
- Maintains accurate documentation of patient condition.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association.
- A valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- PREFERRED:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Licenses and Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
