Job Summary

Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient condition.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association.
  • A valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
• PREFERRED:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
