Registered Nurse - Telemetry

About the Role

A licensed Registered Nurse with clinical experience independently provides routine and complex patient care in a healthcare setting. The nurse assesses, diagnoses, plans, intervenes, and evaluates patient needs, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social factors. They administer medications, monitor treatment effectiveness, document patient information, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care aligned with professional standards and organizational competencies.
• Delegate tasks to care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessment and care planning.
• Address diverse patient needs, ensuring safe medication administration and monitoring side effects.
• Provide patient and family education, identifying issues and available resources.

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license and BLS certification required; ACLS certification necessary.
• Completion of onboarding, orientation, and annual competency validations.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to attend orientation, participate in residency or orientation programs, and obtain necessary certifications within specified grace periods.

Schedule

Full-time night shifts, from 7PM to 7AM.
