Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using evidence-based practices, technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The RN performs comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, social, and psychological status, collaborating with the care team, patients, and families to develop individualized care plans. They direct and coordinate care delivery, delegate tasks, and prioritize patient needs. The RN evaluates patient responses to interventions, revises care plans as needed, and ensures compliance with legal and ethical standards, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
