About the Role

Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) supporting outpatient surgical care, primarily in Breast and Melanoma Surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative education
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care
  • Manage non-face-to-face patient interactions via phone, portal, and electronic health records
  • Support seamless patient care transitions

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum one year of RN experience (preferably in surgery or outpatient care)
  • Current RN license
  • BLS certification
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Adaptability and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams

Experience with electronic health records and telephone triage is preferred. For new graduates, participation in a Nurse Residency Program is available.

Schedule
