Registered Nurse - Surgical/Medical Telemetry

About the role

Provide direct bedside care to surgical and medical patients requiring cardiac and telemetry monitoring in a Surgical Medical Telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and administer medications and IV therapies.
• Perform wound and post-operative care, ensuring accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and engagement.
• Uphold a culture of compassion, safety, and continuous learning while enhancing clinical skills.

Requirements

• Current registration as a nurse or recent graduate with relevant clinical knowledge.
• Strong assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
