Registered Nurse - Surgery Center - PreOp

About the Role

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care based on nursing education and licensure requirements.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and safeguarding patient information.
• Performing duties in accordance with mission, values, and standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, and perform manual tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or others may be required based on unit needs.
