About the role

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for managing patient care, ensuring quality, and supervising other professionals and healthcare workers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care and ensure quality standards are met
  • Supervise other professionals and healthcare workers
  • Assist in the supervision of the department in the absence of the Department Director
  • Develop and accept responsibility for departmental functioning
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education

Requirements

  • Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing or related health care field preferred
  • Peri Anesthesia experience preferred
  • Certified Health Care Provider (CPR) within 6 months
  • Completed Arrhythmia Course and ACLS certification within 12 months of start date
  • Progressive and successful work history

Qualifications

  • Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit
