Registered Nurse Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursing department, including staffing assignments, scheduling, and coordination of care.
Providing clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Conducting regular rounds to assess resident needs, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
Assisting with resident assessments, care planning, and documentation as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and educational programs to enhance nursing practice and resident care.
Qualifications
Experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse with leadership skills.
Passion for excellence in nursing care.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or long-term care patients preferred.
