Registered Nurse Supervisor

About the role

Position Overview: This role is a supervisory position for a Registered Nurse Supervisor/Expert responsible for leading survey teams in conducting long-term care facility recertification, complaint, initial, and revisit surveys. Extensive overnight travel may be required, up to five nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide survey teams, managing all survey activities before, during, and after completion.
• Analyze survey findings to ensure accurate, fair, and consistent determinations of facility compliance.
• Coordinate team activities, often serving as the primary team leader during surveys.
• Require specialized training to manage survey processes and ensure adherence to standards.
• Possibly serve as a senior technical expert or team coordinator based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with a minimum of five years of nursing and supervisory experience.

Skills

• Strong leadership, clinical expertise, and advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to analyze complex survey data.
• Preferred certifications include SMQT.
• Being a team player is highly valued.

Pay

Salary range is $84,274 - $124,726.
