About the role
Oversees and supervises nursing staff and unit activities in a 130-bed facility providing both long-term care and short-term sub-acute care.
Responsibilities
- Organize staff assignments and ensure adherence to nursing standards
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses
- Administer medications and treatments
- Communicate with team members, residents, and families
- Perform assessments post-incident or for changing conditions
- Lead emergency responses
- Maintain accurate reports and staffing records
Requirements
- Current RN License in New York
- Experience with geriatric, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer’s patients preferred
- Supervisory experience is advantageous
- Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends
- COVID-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated
