About the role
Oversees and coordinates activities within a 130-bed facility offering long-term care and short-term sub-acute rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Organize and supervise nursing staff
- Oversee unit operations and demonstrate clinical expertise
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications
- Respond promptly to patient needs
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, residents, and families
- Conduct RN assessments and lead emergency responses
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Manage staffing and census reports
Requirements
- Current RN license in New York
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer’s care preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Weekend availability and flexibility for night and evening shifts
