Registered Nurse Supervisor

About the Role

The RN Supervisor coordinates patient care and services, promoting quality care through a collaborative process that monitors and evaluates services based on patient needs. They work closely with patients and families, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Active RN license
• At least two years of nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics
• Current CPR certification (must be maintained)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expert knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations in post-acute care
• Make independent decisions when necessary
• Implement department policies, programs, and objectives
• Ensure patient rights, safety, and sanitation standards are upheld
• Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality
• Provide and coordinate patient care, develop care plans, and assess patient needs
• Lead licensed staff and CNAs in prioritizing care and reporting
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude
• Assist with patient evacuation and demonstrate dependable attendance
• Communicate effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Perform physical tasks as needed
