Join our team at Fairport Rehab & Nursing Center, a leading provider of healthcare services to area seniors! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our evening shift nursing team.
About the Role
- Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants
- Provide guidance and support to staff in delivering patient care, resolving conflicts, and addressing clinical concerns
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that patient care is being delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments, including Therapy and Physician Services, to ensure seamless care transitions
- Identify and address areas for improvement, implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient care, staff performance, and facility operations
Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing coaching and feedback as needed
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective delivery of patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying and addressing gaps in care
- Attend and contribute to facility meetings, including interdisciplinary team meetings and staff development sessions
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- BLS certification
Pay
$45.00 per hour
Shift Differentials: +$1.50/hr for weekday B & C shifts and +10% more/hour for all weekend shifts
Schedule
Night (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Part-Time (22.5 hours per week)
Weekend Availability: Required
