About the role
Seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Canandaigua, NY. Must have prior supervisor experience in long-term care, strong communication skills, and hold a valid RN license.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
- Scheduling and assigning nursing staff to meet resident care needs
- Providing support to residents and families to create a compassionate environment
- Answering questions and requests from residents and staff
- Ensuring a safe, clean working environment by following regulations
- Managing confidential resident information to promote confidence
- Auditing resident and department records to ensure proper documentation
- Upkeeping nursing supplies inventory and other duties as needed
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Experience in long-term care
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
