About the role

Seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Canandaigua, NY. Must have prior supervisor experience in long-term care, strong communication skills, and hold a valid RN license.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining nursing guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
• Scheduling and assigning nursing staff to meet resident care needs
• Providing support to residents and families to create a compassionate environment
• Answering questions and requests from residents and staff
• Ensuring a safe, clean working environment by following regulations
• Managing confidential resident information to promote confidence
• Auditing resident and department records to ensure proper documentation
• Upkeeping nursing supplies inventory and other duties as needed

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Experience in long-term care
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
