About the role
The RN Supervisor coordinates patient care and services to promote quality, safe, and individualized treatment in accordance with laws and standards.
Responsibilities
- Manages and evaluates patient care
- Directs licensed staff and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
- Develops care plans
- Provides excellent customer service
- Affords assistance in emergency procedures
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, with geriatric experience preferred
- CPR certification
- Expert knowledge of practice standards, legal regulations, and departmental policies
Qualifications
- Good communication, reasoning skills, dependability, and physical ability to perform job duties
- Reads, writes, and speaks English proficiently
