Registered Nurse Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the facility’s nursing staff during shifts, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
• Assisting the Director of Nursing in coordinating and managing nursing services.
• Overseeing patient care during acute episodes and supporting nursing personnel.
• Handling employee issues promptly and maintaining thorough documentation.
• Assuming on-call duties and performing additional assigned tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma and current, valid RN license from the state.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a focus on geriatric care preferred.
• CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training.
• Ability to supervise staff effectively and adhere to all relevant policies and regulations.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred.
