Registered Nurse Supervisor (2nd shift) - South Mountain Restoration Center

Description of Work

This position oversees nursing services to ensure residents receive high quality care and support. The role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating care, and maintaining a safe environment. As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:

• Guide staff in planning, implementing, and evaluating resident care across multiple areas
• Support collaboration among nursing staff, administration, and interdisciplinary teams
• Provide clear communication to residents, families, and staff while facilitating organizational updates
• Offer ongoing training, orientation, and performance guidance for nursing personnel
• Complete records, evaluations, and required reports while monitoring resident care quality
• Respond to critical situations and ensure resident safety during urgent events

Qualifications Required

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
• Special Requirements: This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
• Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
