Pay

Hiring Range: $37.51 - $81.95. The final offer may vary within this range based on a candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

This position may have a signing bonus available; a member of the Recruitment Team will confirm eligibility during the interview process.

Schedule

  • Holidays: Every other holiday
  • Days: Sunday through Saturday
  • Weekends: Every other weekend
  • Scheduled Hours: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM
  • Shift: Evening (8 hours, 32 hours per week)

Responsibilities

Responsible for the planning, delivery, and management of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and adhering to the standards of nursing practice.

  • Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient’s care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
  • Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
  • Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
  • Directs, supervises, coordinates, and evaluates nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
  • Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.

Requirements

  • Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
  • BLS is required for every RN unless Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is current, in addition to any unit-specific certifications and competencies.
  • Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
  • Unless certification, licensure, or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility may be substituted.

Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions

Work is considered medium and requires work indoors in a patient care environment.
