Registered Nurse - Short Stay Unit, ORA ASC - Overnight Shift (PRN)
Position Responsibilities
In this position, you'll actively be providing high-quality care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgical procedures. You will be responsible for patient assessments, monitoring post-operative recovery, administering medications, providing education and discharge instructions, and collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and seamless transitions of care.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- An active RN license in Iowa
- Prior experience in an ambulatory surgery setting is preferred, but not required
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
- The ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families
