Registered Nurse - SAFE- PRN
Job Summary
Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating patient outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, patients, families, and external agencies to coordinate and deliver quality patient care.
Administer medications safely by following medication administration policies, completing medication reconciliation, and adhering to the Five Rights of Medication Administration.
Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, utilize critical thinking, and coordinate appropriate interventions or emergency resources as needed.
Promote patient safety by implementing infection prevention measures, fall prevention strategies, restraint policies, and universal precautions.
Care for patients in the Forensic Care Nursing team at Carroll Hospital.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse RN license for a minimum of 18 months required.
- Emergency Department and Family Birth experience preferred
- BLS through American Heart Association
- 72 hour a month call requirement
- FNE-A preferred
