About the role

The Women's Health Department at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, providing specialized care to patients from Neonatal to Geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred
• NRP certification preferred
• Handle with Care certification preferred

Qualifications
