Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee operations in a skilled nursing facility. This role emphasizes leadership, clinical expertise, and effective communication to ensure high-quality resident care and team management.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all duties within the assigned unit
• Establishing and implementing employee policies and procedures
• Mentoring less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance
• Maintaining care standards and reviewing resident records and quality of care
• Monitoring overall resident care and addressing questions or complaints from residents and families
• Representing the unit’s interests with upper management

Requirements

• Valid State RN License
• Preferred: 3 years Long Term Care experience and 2 years Charge Nurse experience
• Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities
