Registered Nurse (RN) - UH2 Internal Medicine Clinic

About the role

Provide compassionate care and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives in an internal-medicine clinic. Assess, plan, and deliver top-notch nursing care for patients with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team. Participate in committees, supervise students, and share your expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients based on diagnosis and individual needs.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, adjusting as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in committees, and contribute to program evaluations.
• Supervise and educate students and other healthcare professionals.
• Perform duties in accordance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of one year of medical/surgical experience or at least one year of prior experience in the specialty area for PRN positions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree in a specialty area.
• RN Specialty Certification in your area of expertise.

Schedule

• Full time, 40 hours per week.
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
