Registered Nurse (RN Triage & Support)

About the role

Axia Women's Health is the nation’s largest community-based, integrated women's health network, serving women throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kentucky. The network spans OB/GYN care, breast health, high-risk pregnancy care, urogynecology, behavioral health, and fertility. This Full Time RN (Triage & Support) position is available at Garden State OBGYN with locations in Voorhees & Moorestown.

Office hours are Monday - Friday 8AM-4:30PM with one evening shift per week (12-8PM).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on signs and symptoms using established triage protocols and guidelines.
• Obtains input and direction from providers to determine the best clinical course of action and recommendations for patient care.
• Accurately documents symptoms, complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided, and patient/caller response.
• Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency, improve health care outcomes, and enhance patient access to appropriate care.
• Coordinates patient care and participates in implementing policies and procedures related to medical services for nursing staff, primarily via telephone.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.

Knowledge of CPT coding, lab-specific order sets, and eCW is beneficial.

Pay

$35 to $38 per hour. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on factors including skill set, experience, location, and qualifications.
