Registered Nurse (RN Triage & Support)

This Full Time RN (Triage & Support) position is available at McConnell & Associate's OB/GYN located in Wynnewood, PA. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 9AM-5PM.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and assesses patient’s health care needs based on patient’s signs and symptoms utilizing established triage protocols and guidelines.
- Obtains appropriate input and direction from the provider as needed to determine best clinical course of action and recommendations for specific patient health care.
- Accurately documents symptoms/complaints, nursing assessment, advice provided, and patient/caller response.
- Follows policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure consistency and departmental effectiveness as well as improve health care outcomes of patients/callers and their access to appropriate health care.
- Coordinates patient care and participates in policy and procedure implementations as they relate to medical services for nursing staff, primarily via the telephone.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a medical facility, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
Knowledge of CPT coding, lab-specific order sets, and eCW are beneficial.
Pay
$35 to $38 per hour. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
