Job Summary

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. Full Time, Nights

Position Summary

The RN provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

Responsibilities

  • Reports for scheduled shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
  • Attends and participates in meetings and is responsible for information communicated at meetings.
  • Adheres to Corporate, Regional, hospital and departmental policy and procedure 100% of the time.
  • Follows Infection Control procedures at all times.
  • Demonstrates the ability to adapt to varied age-specific patient populations.

Qualifications

  • Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Prior clinical experience in area of expertise preferred.
  • Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. BLS, ACLS, Basic EKG, critical care course and/or emergency care course that includes critical care didactic as part of course.
  • PALS within six (6) months.
  • TNCC within one year - Trauma Resus and TICU only. Optional for TSD.
  • ENPC within one year - Trauma Resus only. Optional for TICU and TSD.
  • CCRN, TCRN preferred.
