- Affords assessments of physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth and development needs of the patient.
- Develops a written plan of care using assessment data.
- Implements nursing care plan.
- Evaluates patient's response to interventions.
- Demonstrates leadership skills.
- Affords assistance in organizing Patient Care Activities.
Qualifications
- Education: Required - Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
- Experience: None
- Licenses: REGISTERED NURSE
- Certifications: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN), ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) (within 180 days for inexperienced), NIH STROKE (within 60 days of hire/transfer effective date)

Organization Description
St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, and has a level III NICU. Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Childrens Hospital at St. Marys Medical Center, which is the only dedicated children's hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando.
