Join our 22-bed Telemetry unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6. We are staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for a mix of patients including Med/Surg. Our unit has 24/7 CNA coverage who work closely with the RNs as well as 24/7 cardiac monitoring. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover while delivering high-quality patient care in a strong team environment. Job Location Type: In-person.
Schedule
3x12 Days (7a-7p) rotating weekends/rotating holidays
Pay
Commitment Bonus: $20,000
Responsibilities
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- One year of experience preferred
