Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele Med/Surg

About the role

Howard Regional Health in Kokomo has an excellent opportunity available within their Telemetry Medical/Surgical (TMS) unit. The Registered Nurse will manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of the organization.
• Manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.
• Demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.
• Work in a mixed Medical Surgical Unit with a 30-bed capacity and is the designated Stroke Unit at Howard Regional.

Requirements

• Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing.
• Three years of related professional nursing experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Qualifications

• Three years of related professional nursing experience.
