About the role

Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy, NY is seeking an Evening RN Supervisor with 3pm-11pm shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provides continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families.
• Performs assessments on elders that may have had a fall, a decline in condition, or perhaps suicidal comments.
• Acts as the senior liaison and administrative person on the campus, addressing staffing and family concerns.
• Asked to participate in auditing or QA activities.
• Demonstrates the organization’s commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of New York.
• 1 year or more of experience as an RN.

Qualifications

The position requires a strong background in nursing and leadership skills, along with the ability to work effectively with residents and their families.

Skills

Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.

Pay

The pay range is $44.00 - $58.10 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
