New Paltz Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 77-bed facility located in a quiet woodsy neighborhood outside of New Paltz, NY. Responsibilities

• Complete resident care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to residents and families
• Provide information to residents and staff by answering questions and requests
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by implementing rules and regulations
• Ensure resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing
• Manage documentation of resident care services
• Promote a cooperative relationship among health care teams

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3 years of Long-Term Care experience preferred
• Strong and positive Team Director for all members of the staff
• Familiar with EHR and Prescribing programs
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills
