Registered Nurse (RN) - Stroke Treatment & Recovery - Full time - 36 hours per week - Rotating Shifts

About the role

Christiana Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Stroke Treatment and Recovery Unit (STAR).

The STAR unit is a 29-bed facility that caters to stroke patients and medical overflow patients. Nurses here work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Care for stroke patients and medical overflow patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care quality.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
• BSN required; commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS Certification preferred.
• One year of experience as an RN is required.
• RN experience in Med Surg and Acute Care preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Delaware RN license.
• BSN degree or commitment to obtain within three years of hire.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• One year of RN experience.
• Experience in Med Surg and Acute Care preferred.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $41.28 - $66.05.

The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.

Schedule

Shifts are available as either 7AM - 7PM or 7PM - 7AM.
