Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown/PCU

About the Role

Join our interdisciplinary team in the 14-bed Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Bryn Mawr Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will care for the Stepdown/PCU patient population, playing an integral role in their treatment and overall patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and treatment for Stepdown/PCU patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Engage in hospital and system-wide nursing committees, unit councils, evidence-based research projects, and precepting new staff.
• Pursue professional development opportunities, including certifications and the Clinical Ladder program.

Requirements

• One year of recent Telemetry or Stepdown-level nursing experience (Stepdown experience preferred).
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in an approved Nursing Licensure Compact state.
• Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) preferred.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week.
• Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) or Day/Night rotation (candidate’s preference).
