Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU

About the Role

As a Progressive Care (PCU) Nurse on our 16‑bed unit, you will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, delivering care and treatment that directly impacts the patient experience for step‑down/progressive care patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to step‑down/progressive care patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
• Participate in hospital‑wide nursing committees, unit councils, and evidence‑based research projects.
• Precept new staff and engage in the Clinical Ladder program.
• Pursue certifications or advanced nursing degrees (BSN, MSN, MBA, PhD, DNP) with support from the tuition reimbursement program.

Requirements

• One year of recent telemetry and/or step‑down level nursing experience.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or a multi‑state license in an approved Nursing Licensure Compact state.
• Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) preferred.
