Services include hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, cardiac drips, emergency response stabilization, and post‑intensive procedural care. The unit is committed to promoting optimal patient outcomes while supporting patients and families through critical and complex healthcare situations. Raleigh General is a 300‑bed hospital located in Beckley, WV, and is part of Lifepoint Health’s network of acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age‑ and condition‑appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PLS) certifications required within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply and will be supported through a 1‑year residency program
• Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) certification preferred
