Registered Nurse (RN) – School-Based Role | Weekdays | $48/hr.

Location: Bethel, NY (Sullivan County – Local Hudson Valley Nurses Encouraged to Apply). Employment type: full-time, temporary.

We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support a school-based adult education program in Bethel, NY. This role focuses on providing general health support to students ages 16–24 in a structured, non-acute setting. This is an ideal opportunity for RNs looking to step away from bedside care and into a stable, lower-stress weekday role.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and monitor student health needs
• Administer medications as needed within RN scope of practice
• Conduct health assessments and document findings
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
• Collaborate with school staff to support student safety
• Respond to minor medical needs during the school day
• Provide general health education and guidance

Requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Ability to work independently in a school setting
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Professional, calm, and student-focused approach
• School nursing, public health, or outpatient experience
• Experience working with young adults or community programs

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No nights, no weekends.

Pay

$48 per hour.
