About the role

The Radiology RN position at MercyOne Genesis involves providing specialized nursing care to patients during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The nurse coordinates care based on the radiological nursing process on a short-term basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Carefully monitor and document patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and departmental policies.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification within 9 months of hire.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in Iowa.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
