Registered Nurse (RN) - Quality Specialist

About the Role

Responsible for leading clinical quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal and state reporting standards, and enhancing clinical effectiveness in ambulatory settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an expert on clinic quality initiatives, staying current on regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT, fiscal, and medical records to ensure accurate data submission.
• Conduct quality reviews, identify improvement opportunities, and develop process enhancement strategies.
• Provide education and outreach on performance improvement and best practices to staff and leadership.
• Ensure timely submission of data, validation compliance, and implement necessary process adjustments.
• Develop tools for staff to maintain compliance and work with leaders to capture quality data effectively.
• Act as a liaison for ambulatory quality matters within the organization.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the practice state.
• 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
• Ability to perform essential functions with visual acuity and effective communication.
