About the role
Provides direct patient care as a Registered Nurse in a neurology unit, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams
- Coordinates patient care
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensures care aligns with organizational standards and values
- Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by team members
- Performs assessments for complex neurological conditions such as strokes and seizures
Qualifications
- Accredited nursing degree (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Active RN license in Missouri or a compact state
- BLS certification
- Preferred: BSN
- Preferred: prior hospital experience
- Preferred: specialty certifications
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform safe patient handling tasks
