About the role
Trinity Health - Grand Rapids Psychiatric Med Unit is a unit for general medical patients who have a co-existing Behavioral Health diagnosis. The Registered Nurse (RN) works in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. A Registered Nurse is expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Provide evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care
- Facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred (if ADN in Grand Rapids, must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete within 4 years)
- Licensed in the State of Michigan
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association
- Experience as an RN required
