El Paso Behavioral Health System is a private 167‑bed psychiatric hospital located in El Paso, Texas, specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. The facility provides a wide range of inpatient, day‑hospital, and outpatient services that offer evidence‑based treatment and compassionate, supportive care tailored to patients’ needs.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health‑team members, following the nursing process and Texas Board of Nursing standards of care.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience preferred.
- Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.
- Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
- Current CPR certification required upon hire.
- Successful completion of “Handle With Care” training, including physical hold and verbal de‑escalation, during orientation.
