About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) at PAM Health is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May also perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as a Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Requirements
- Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
- AHA-approved ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification.
- AHA-approved ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
- AHA-approved ACLS certification for Charge Nurses.
