Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient triage, assessments, treatments, medication administration, IV starts, and nursing interventions
  • Educate patients and families on chronic disease management, preventive care, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Cookordinate care and connect patients with internal and community resources
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized plans of care
  • Participate in community outreach events and health education initiatives that promote wellness throughout the community
  • Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation
  • Participate in telephone and in-clinic triage, including an after-hours call rotation
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for new nursing staff as assigned

  • Develop expertise in specialized nursing roles, including: Diabetes Education, Women's Health and Obstetrics, Employee Health, Infection Prevention and Control, Tobacco Cessation, Chronic Pain Management, Clinical Training and Nursing Education

Requirements

  • Current WA State Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with at least three (3) years of direct patient care experience in acute care and/or primary care OR Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with at least five (5) years of direct patient care experience
  • Experience providing patient education
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to obtain ACLS and/or PALS as required
  • Experience using electronic health records
  • Valid Washington State driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
