About the role

Provides comprehensive nursing care in a patient-focused environment, developing nursing diagnoses, care plans, and interventions tailored to individual needs. Supports patients, families, and the healthcare team through physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual assistance. Ensures safe, clean, and efficient care by adhering to policies, documenting services, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Reviews physician prescriptions, communicates care plans, and collaborates with healthcare providers.
• Develops and updates nursing care plans based on patient assessments and medical histories.
• Educates patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Monitors and evaluates patient outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Maintains a safe environment by following infection control, medication, and safety protocols.
• Documents patient care accurately in records and manages supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Effective communication skills and visual acuity.
• Experience in clinical settings is preferred.
