Registered Nurse (RN) Post Intensive Care- III (2N) Full Time Night

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate degree in nursing preferred
• Minimum one (1) year RN experience on a Telemetry unit
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and demonstrated writing skills
• Certifications And Licenses Required:
  • Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association
  • ACLS or obtain within 6 months of hire

Requirements

• Full Time
• Night Shift 7:00pm – 7:30am
• Every other weekend required. Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs

Skills

Organize and administer individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care.

Supports philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing.

Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies.

Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning.

Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.

Pay

$47.62 - $63.73 per hour

Schedule

Night Shift 7:00pm – 7:30am
